Introduction

1. Information We Collect

  • Service information: quote requests, job details, photos of your property, scheduling, and service history.

  • Billing information: invoice and payment records. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, and we don't store full card numbers.

  • SMS information: your mobile number, opt-in consent records, and message history.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to provide our services, including preparing quotes, scheduling and performing work, sending invoices and collecting payment, and responding to your questions. We also use it to keep business records and meet legal or tax obligations.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

  • Sender: Hanauer Landscape & Lawn Care, from 608-315-5041.

  • Message types: quote requests and follow-ups, appointment scheduling and reminders, service updates, and invoices or account notices.

  • How you opt in: by providing your mobile number on our quote or contact form and checking the box agreeing to receive texts, or by texting us first.

  • Message frequency: varies with your service activity, typically 1-6 messages per month.

  • Rates: message and data rates may apply.

  • How to opt out: reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message. You'll get one confirmation text, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

  • Help: reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the information in Section 11.

  • Consent: consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

  • Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. No Sharing for Marketing
Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent data, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

5. Service Providers
We may share your information only with service providers, such as our text messaging, invoicing, payment, and scheduling platforms, and only as needed to run our business and deliver our services to you. This sharing excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent, which is never shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Our providers may use your information only to perform services for us.

6. SMS Registration Data
Consumer SMS registration and opt-in data is not transferred, shared, or disclosed to external organizations, except where required by law.

7. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time using the contact information below. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE.

10. Children & Changes
Our services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. We may update this policy from time to time, and the "Last updated" date shows the latest version.
